Amazing - that in the few short years since it was written Africa Rocks has now been performed by more than 500 schools and youth theatre organisations in the UK and overseas.
To celebrate, we have decided to offer to schools and all those interested in promoting music for young people two of the songs from the show absolutely free of charge! For a limited period we are making the downloads available so you can download the full vocal tracks and the versions with backing tracks only. Our accountant thinks we have gone completely mad! Not only do you get the mp3 downloads but also the sheet music and lyrics available on this page.
Everyone here at wave7music is delighted that the show has become so successful. We have had much interaction to support schools producing the show - including providing extra tracks to some schools and in a few cases we have been to the schools to record the work in progress. The show is now featured on the Teachers TV Internet site in the UK. One recent exciting development is the show being purchased by a school in Namibia! We are delighted to see our first real African school performing Africa Rocks! and we look forward to going over to work with and record the school in July/August this year.
